At Midnight

I couldn´t believe my eyes when I saw that old woman scream and disappear in front of me.

It was at midnight when my mother told me to go to bed but I didn´t sleep early because I was watching a fantastic horror movie. 

My parents had gone to bed and I was alone in the living room.

Suddenly, I saw a scary figure passing behind me. I nearly jumped out of my skin!

When I tried to scream for help, a bony hand grabbed my clothes and I ran up the stairs.

Unfortunately, in the dark of my bedroom was an old woman of terrible appearance.

She looked like a witch.

She screamed and disappeared in front of me.

I passed out and woke up in the couch with the remote in my hand in the next morning.

I don´t know if it was true, but my clothes smelled like a corpse.

Since that day, I have promised myself that I won´t watch horror movies or go to bed late again.
